Question: Hi Doctor, 

I am 26, me and my gf were doing pleasure to each other by touching each others private parts, during this process,her hands got sticky with my sperms,even i played with my self and got sperms on my hands aswell,then i fingered her vagina with the infected(sperm) hand for a while. we did not have any sex at all.Just after about 40 min she went to the bathroom,she noticed her vagina was wet and she touched her vagina(fingering her self) with the infected hand that had my sperm on it and then she took bath. This event(pleasuring each other) happened on saturday,27 sep at 3 pm and she took the ipill on monday,29 sep, she had the ipill around 11:30 am on monday which is with in 48 hours.

General information: 
Her periods are of 5 days every month, she will have heavy bleeding on 2 and 3 day of each period every month. She will have light bleeding on 1,4,5 day of each period every month. 

Her period dates for July, Aug, sep are 

19July-23july 
23 aug- 27 aug
22sep- 26 sep

Doctor I would like to tell u that the event of pleasuring each other happened on 27 sep which is just the next day when her periods got over(22 sep- 26 sep).

Doctor she had withdrawal bleeding from 7 Oct to 11 Oct which was exactly same as her period bleeding trend.

She took urine pregnancy test on following dates:12 Oct, 22 Oct and 24 Oct, all test came negative

She also took blood pregnancy test on 24 Oct (after 4 weeks from incident happened on 27 sep), the report was normal, less than 10

She again took blood pregnancy test on 3 Nov ,the report was normal, this time hcg level was 1.88

1. Doctor she has not got her periods till now, and gynecologist cannot confirm it the withdrawal bleeding was the periods or not, but they told she will get her periods soon which she has not got till now, doctor do I need to have another blood pregnancy test?

2. Doctor I also fear it might be ectopic pregnancy which cannot be detected by blood hcg test, doctor I wanted to know is ectopic pregnancy possible with hcg level less than 5, I have read online that ectopic pregnancy Can occur with low hcg levels as well and which is not detectable by blood test alone.

Please help me what to do.

Hi doctor, thanks for reply, doctor she did the blood pregnancy test twice. First test was done on 24 Oct with value less than 10 and second was done on 3 Nov with hcg value 1.88, again less than 10, I believe it's a sensitive test and since there is a gap of 9 days between the two test conducted, the hcg levels should have multiplied many times, as it doubles with in 48-72 hours. But the hcg level is less than 5.

1. Doctor is there still a change of pregnancy even when the tests showed negative and that to after a gap of 9 days.

2 Doctor does hcg level exist in females who are virgin, I mean who never had intercourse.

3 . Doctor what if the pregnancy is detected, can it still be aborted with the abortion pills prescribe by doctor, I mean if the pregnancy is detected at this stage, will the pills work since the incident of pleasuring happened on 27 sep, because what I have read was pill is effective if taken with in 6-7 months once the pregnancy is detected.

Doctor I have a query, her monthly period have following trend

On 2nd and 3rd day she has heavy bleeding.
On 1st, 4th and 5th day she has light bleeding.
Period is of 5 days each month.

This time in month of November she is having different bleeding flow.

On 11th Nov which is the first day of her period she had light bleeding followed by heavy bleeding on same day with slight pain.

Today on 12 Nov she had less bleeding as compared to 1st day with more pain compared to first day

This bleeding flow is just the opposite to her period flow.

Doctor is this a period or sign of ectopic pregnancy?

Hi doctor, she did blood test today, 14 Nov which is the 4th day of her period. The test showed hcg levels 1.5 which is less than 5.

Doctor can blood hcg test give accurate value during periods too?

Hi doctor, thanks for reply, doctor i would like to tell you that the 3 test were done by three different gynecologist as the first two said that there is no need for repetitive test as it is less than 5, so we went to different gynecologist for examination for blood hcg test. This time it was again negative 1.5, doctor I wanted to know since these test were done in 3 different laboratories, is it OK? Because each laboratory has there own technique to do same test. Will it affect the accuracy oh blood hcg levels 3?
