What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Morning After Pill?

Question: My periods are irregular and I knew I was about to have my period since I've I had some Brown discharge for a couple of days and I had unprotected sex on satrday october 18 at around 5 or 6 am and again on Sunday October 19 around the same time and I took the morning after pill on Sunday at 3 pm .. I have not had my period since I took the morning after pill and the Brown discharge is on and off . I also feel Bloated, crampy, have some headaches and gassy. Should I be conserned if the morning after pill did not work?

This pill reduces the chance of pregnancy by 89%.. So in case of doubt, get a pregnancy test using early morning urine sample..

Bloating and gaseous distension is common side effect of the pill. Sorry you need not worry.. It will go off in a week's time..
