Question: my period hasn't come for two months. Not pregnant and dont have kids, Im 38 years old and this is my second time happening to me. When to the gynecologist and she gave me ortho cyclen low and it came normal. Now I have noticed that my last period was October 22 and didn't get it in November nor December but the only thing that concerns me its that I have this clear fluid coming out doesnt smell at all just a clear wetness with a slightly pain on my left ovary, I need help.

Brief Answer:
Delayed periods

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I read your query and I understand your concerns about delayed periods and clear discharge.

Following is my reply

1. Delayed periods could be due to stress, change of place or any sad events in life. It is common to have delayed periods once in a while. Don't worry about it.

2. Clear vaginal discharge suggests increased progesterone hormone, . This is not harmful and does not mean STD.

3. If you wish to have periods wait you can try same ortho cyclen and see if you can get periods.

Regards

No

Hi

I dont think you are ovulating. Since your cycles were normal last year you cannot ovulate so late. This is not ovulation.

Brief Answer:
Clear discharge with ovarian pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Pain on the side need not be ovarian. It could be bowel movements. Even if it is from ovary or uterus, it could be because you are probably going to have periods soon and this is premenstrual pain.

The discharge is because of excess progesterone hormone which is common during premenstrual phase.
