Question: Hi Doctor,

I had my last periods on 29th May 2014 and yet to get it. Tested negative for pregnancy. I have a kid who is 7 yrs old. I had PCOD problem before a few years but it was regular after that. Kindly suggest a tablet for getting my mensus cycle.

Thank you

FOLLOW THE ADVICE.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

On NEGATIVE test, I can suggest Progesterone Pill (like PRIMOLUT-N) to induce your period. It should be taken twice daily for 5 days. You will get withdrawal bleeding like period within 3-5 days of stopping them.

Take LOW carbohydrate diet, control body weight, avoid mental stress and maintain genital hygiene.

Hope, it helps for you. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish your good health and take care yourself.

Regards,
Dr Soumen
