What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Normal Ultrasound?

Question: I always had periods either on time or early. But from 2-3 months the period date is getting delayed by 5-7 days. I had an USG around 6months back which didnot show any negative results.

I can understand your concerns.
In every women sometimes during there menstrual cycle changes in menstrual cycle occurs, it may come early or delay.
As your ultrasound scan was not showing any pathology and you are not having any associated symptoms there is no need to worry about it.
You should consume a healthy and nutritious diet, take a good sleep, do some yoga and meditation, drink a lot of water.
If problem persist than you can consult a Gynecologist and get yourself examined for the same.
Menstrual irregularities can be due to stress, anxiety, diet changes, hormonal imbalance, PCOD, fibroid and infection.
