What Causes Delay In Menstrual Bleeding Post Unprotected Intercourse?

Question: I had my last period on 18/9/2016, and its been 10 days now and i still have not got my periods (usually i have a 30 days cycle) I have also checked for pregnance, but thats showing negative.
Can you please suggest me what should i do and what is the delay for the period.
