Brief Answer:
It is might due to Vitamin B complex deficiency

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM
I have gone through your query.
The symptoms suggest that you are suffering from a condition called angular Cheilosis, an inflammatory condition of one corner of the mouth.
The possible causes are Vitamin B deficiency, yeast (fungal) infection or a latest angular herpes simplex infection causing recurrent cracks at the angle of the mouth. Incidentally, the commonest cause of angular Cheilosis in XXXXXXX is Vitamin B deficiency.

I would have advised you to take capsule/ tablet of vitamin b complex twice daily for week and then daily once for 15 days.
If it doesn't improve, get a scrapping from the lesion analyzed in the Pathological laboratory, to identify and isolate the causative organism.

Avoid acid drinks, like fruit juices or fizzy drinks, or drink them through a straw so they don't irritate your mouth. Also avoid spicy food and sharp food and citrus fuits.
You can use topical ointments like numbing ointments, such as benzocaine (Oragel). Yes these are available over the counter.

Hope this helps.
Take care.
