Brief Answer: May be an inclomplete abortion Detailed Answer: Hello and welcome, I understand the issue. You had taken a MT pill and bled for 1 week and after 10 days are now bleeding since a month. The most likely diagnosis is an incomplete abortion. Some bits of tissue may have remained inside and are now causing bleeding. Other reasons are an endometrial polyp, hormone imbalance or in very rare cases a vesicular mole [ an abnormal type of pregnancy that has grape like tissue. extremely rare so unlikely]. The diagnosis can be made by an examination by a gynecologist to look for the size of uterus and condition of cervix and an ultrasound. If there is retained bit of tissue, a surgical procedure to remove it [ called check curette] will need to be done. It is easy and short. If there are no retained bits, then look for other causes like hormonal evaluation. Your doctor will be able to help you better with this after an examination. So please visit your doctor urgently as you have already bled a lot and may develop low hemoglobin or anemia. Do not worry. A few cases fail to abort completely with MT pill and need a surgical procedure. So this is not an unusual occurrence. Hope this satisfies your query. Thanks for using HCM.
