Brief Answer:
Migraine

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for getting back

The symptoms that you are facing is typical of migraine. However a close differential would be hypertension. Patients often present to clinics with raised blood pressure and headaches which does not subside with pain medicines.
Here is how you should go about it

1. Approach a clinic if you donot have a blood pressure monitor at home to check blood pressure
2. Ibuprophen is not a very good drug for headaches. A better drug would be Naproxen, it can be taken twice daily for not more than 3 days
3. Avoid sharp lights
4. Try to be in a calm and quiet room
5. Eat on time and avoid getting too hungry
6. Local analgeics like diclofenac gel can be applied for the neck pain

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Brief Answer:
Neck cramps associated with hypertension

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for getting back, I am sorry for the short delay in my reply. It was my outpatient clinic day at the hospital.

Neck cramps and pain at the back of the head is frequently associated with hypertensive headaches. Applying diclofenac gel will give good symptomatic relief.

Please follow my previous suggestion, do not ignore this any further. any headache lasting this long needs evaluation
