Cloudy urine could be seen plenty of conditions like urinary infection, dehydration or excess protein loss in urine but it must be co-related with clinical history and symptoms.

So,let me know

Since when you have noticed cloudy urine?
Do you suffered from urinary infection recently or in past?
Any disease like diabetes or hypertension or any other kidney disease?
Have you undergone any tests (blood or urine) recently?

I noticed the cloudy urine about a week ago, and it continues. I had my blood tested 3 weeks ago. My doctor started me on Vitamin C and iron at that time. I have not had a noticeable urinary infection. I do not have diabetes or hypertension.

Brief Answer:
Get further evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

Cloudy urine could be indicative of pus or mucus or casts (like calcium or oxalates) or sometimes blood in urine which might be a sign of some underlying pathology,so it must be further evaluated by routine examination.

However, cloudy urine does not always indicative of some underlying problem but it is better to rule out by some routine blood and urine tests.

So,in my advise you should go for routine blood counts,ESR,urine examination for routine-miscroscopy and ultrasound of KUB to rule out any urinary problem.

Drink plenty of water and take liquid citralka 2TSF which may help to prevent urinary irritation and act as a urine alkalizer, thus may reduce cloudiness of urine.

Hope this helps.

Dr.Sandip Kabra
