Question: What is causing chronic diarrea? Diagnosed wit h pylory, gastritis , duodenal ulcer, and possible GERD?

Chronic diarrhea can be caused by bacterial infection, colon cancer, neuroendocronine tumors (like carcinoid), pancreas insufficiency, partial bowels obstruction, hyperthyroidism, medicines (including those for high cholesterol), inflammatory bowels disease. As you are over the age of 50, first thing to rule out is colon cancer. I suggest you to do not wait any longer with your symptoms. Please start with stool test, stool culture test and colonoscopy.
