What Causes Chills After Having Lisinopril?

Question: Hi, I just started taking 2.5 mg of Lisinopril yesterday and am experiencing chills. Should I continue?

All medications are associated with potential side effects.

Lisinopril is not normally associated with chills though persons can experience different reactions to medications.
Chills normally occur as a result of fever due to infection or another source of inflammation.

If you believe that it is related to the medication then it would be best to contact your doctor to let him or her know so that an alternative can be suggested and this one discontinued.
Since you need BP control, would need an alternative

You may also want to consider monitoring for any additional symptoms in case the chills indicate that you are in the early stage of developing an infection eg cough/cold etc
