What Causes Calf Muscle Pain While On Bystolic?

Question: I take a blood pressure medication "Bystolic". I have a problem with my calf muscles where they become sore when I lie down or sit. Basically they get sore when I don't move them If I walk the soreness is less.

Muscle pains are not a common side effect of the bystolic. There are many causes of muscle pains but common causes are not enough exercise, not enough stretching, not having the proper vitamins or not being well hydrated.
Here are some things to try. Walk at least 30 minutes daily. Take a multivitamin/mulitmineral daily. Do 10 minutes of leg stretches twice a day. Drink plenty of water and avoid coffee, tea, sodas and alcohol since they can make you dehydrated.

When you do a specific stretch, hold it for at least 30 seconds to a minute then move on to another one. You do not have to do all the leg stretches listed but pick a few that seem to stretch out the muscle groups that hurt and use those daily.
