What Causes Burning Red Spots On The Legs?
Question: Hi,
I visited the beach about 3 weeks ago and had a few weird spots on my legs that I thought were mosquito bites. Since then, i keep finding additional spots and the initial ones look worse. Do you have any idea what these could be? How do i get rid of them?

I can see there are bright red spots on leg. I would keep a possibility of eczematous dermatitis.
I would like to know if you have any associated symptoms like itching, pain, burning etc?

There is a little bit of burning on the spots when they seem to blister .

Oral antibiotic and topicals

I would keep a possibility of eczematous dermatitis. I suggest a week's course of an oral antibiotic e.g either Amoxicilln or Cephalexin.
Topically you may use a topical steroid+antibiotic combination cream/ointment e.g either momeasone furoate 0.1%+fusidic acid2% cream Or fluticasone propionate0.05%+mupirocin2%ointment, twice daily. These are prescription drugs.
In addition you may also take a tablet of cerizine 10mg for symptomatic relief from itching and burning. cerizine is available over the counter.
