Brief Answer:
enlarged circumvallate papilla,oral thrush-candida

Detailed Answer:
Hello thaks for quiery.bumps at the back of your tongue could be due enlarged circumvallate papilla.it could be due to lot of reasons such as nutritional deficiencies. You need complete blood tests to check for it. The white patches could be due to poor oral hygiene and prolonged usage of medicines or also due to poor oral hygiene,,but since it is recurring it could be due to opportunistic infections such as candidiasis called as oral thrush.you need to do salt water gargle thrice daily for enlarged papilla.you may need topical anti fungal such as candid oral paint under the guidance of an oral physician..also use a soft brush to keep your tongue clean..hope it helps..take care..

Hi Dr,

I had a blood test on 21st May and looks everything OK. I have attached for your reference. Also had a complete blood report back in 2013 came out that I have some Vitamin deficiencies. Not sure if that's causing issues now. When I google my oral condition it comes out like Oral thrush . Is this scary thing or goes with medication? I brush 3 times a day with sensodyne toothpaste also brush my tongue once a day with soft brush. Any medication you want to suggest?

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Oral thrush-candidiasis,,topical antifungal

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for the follow up query.

I saw your blood report, all are within normal limits. So nothing to worry. Oral thrush is treatable. Since it is part of normal flora, it will not go away completely. You can try candid oral paint which is topical anti fungal cream. Also get a swab test to check for candidiasis.

I hope you are taking vitamin supplements and good nutritious food. Also follow strict oral hygiene practices such as do not share your tooth brush, continue to brush your teeth and tongue with a soft brush.

Also take a consult with a oral medicine specialist for a thorough physical examination and treatment, since only then it will give correct picture, asap if problem continues.

Hope it helps, take care.
