Is It Safe To Use Mouth Wash During Pregnancy?
Hi Doctor,
I am 17 weeks pregnent,now i got very bad teeth ache...cannot suffer...am using Sensodyne for more than one year,now i heard that it is not safe in pregnancy..i am not feeling better by using other tooth pastes.i like to know that is the colgate mouth wash safe during pregnancy???please advise me..

Mouth wash can be used in pregnancy.. But it shouldnot be swallowed.. Rinse the mouth thouroughly after using it.. Only intake can cause harm.. Get a checkup with a dentist.. 2nd trimester that is from 13 - 28 weeks is the ideal time in case any tooth repair is required in pregnancy.. So get it treated rather than waiting till late pregnancy.. Hope i have answered your query.. good day..
