What Causes Bump On Scalp After An Injury?
Question: My son is five year old today he went to play at his friends house and then he fall from the couch and hit the back of his head I examine his head I feel like just a little bump the size of it knuckle and is swelling and then there's a little scratch I'm wondering what should I do. There is no major bleeding it looks like some things Scratch him he told me he fall down from the couch and then landed on the bottom the carpet and then he hit his head.

How many days should i keep and eye on him for? By drowsiness do you mean he sleep more than certain hour or he falls as sleep often in day time? The surface he fall on is carpet how come there is a tiny scratch?
