Brief Answer:
Reason could be two possibilities

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

The reason could be due to two reasons. One is you may be having gastric reflux /regurgitation and second is you may be having heavy meal at the night.

The solution for this is
1) Don’t sleep immediately after having food. Walk for 15 min
2) Have light meals at the night. Stop when you feel full.
3) Avoid giving long gap between meals. Snack something in-between 2 meals. Means little you should eat every 3 hours. Make sure it is healthy food and avoid junk foods.
4) Reduce weight if you are overweight or have more abdominal fat.

If by these suggestions your discomfort don't come down then consult your doctor and start on pantoprozole with levosulpiride combination.

Hope I have answered your query. If any further queries are there I would love to help you.

Brief Answer:
Yes it can cause

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Yes acid reflux may cause breathing discomfort. The cause is heavy meal and late meal.

The solution is as I said in my answer before you should not sleep immediately and walk after dinner. Don't take heavy meal for dinner.

Try to have dinner before 8pm or 8.30 pm. While you sleep use pillow such that your head and chest is above the level of stomach. Start on pantoprozole with levosulpiride combination.

With this your symptoms will reduce. This is the only solution. For acid reflux surgery are not so effective.

Hope I have answered your query. If any further queries are there I would love to help.
