What Causes Blurry And Hazy Vision And Numbness In Leg?

default
Posted on Fri, 20 Feb 2015
Question: My vision seems to be a little blurry, lately. When I look at the clock by my bed in the middle of night the numbers seem to be hazy. Just last night my left leg went numb and it still is. I don't know if they are related or two different issues.

Brief Answer:
Visit an eye doctor as well as a physician

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

The blurriness of vision and numbness of your leg seem to be two separate issues.

You probably have a condition called presbiopia which is the medical term for age related dimness of vision. Your eye power needs to be checked. Please visit a optometrist or ophthalmologist and get a refraction done.

The cause of the left leg numbness would need to be evaluated. The first thing to exclude in this regard, is cerebrovascular accident or stroke. The next thing to evaluate is whether you have diabetes and are suffering from nerve damage. I would strongly suggest that you get in touch with your physician without delay and get it assessed.

Hope that helps.
