Brief Answer:
Need evaluation....
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
At the outset, I don't think the current symptoms including pain is related to your periods or the previous
tubal ligation.
Bloody stool and diarrhea is commonly caused by an infection that generally resolves spontaneously. Fissure /
hemorrhoid are the other common causes. Therefore it rarely bothers me and I do not push for tests unless the symptoms persist / recurs.
However you described lower
abdominal pain going on for the past 6 months. In the back ground of chronic lower abdominal pain, I would want to exclude intestinal and colon conditions like
diverticulitis, polyps or inflammatory bowel conditions. Therefore instead of ignoring, I would refer you to a gastroenterologist who can perform a stool tests,
colonoscopy and ultrasound abdomen. If the aforementioned tests are normal, I will not be worried.
Hence in my opinion, the next step would be to visit a GP and ask for gastroenterologist reference; if not fix an appointment with the specialist directly.
Hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need clarifications.
Regards
