Brief Answer:
Information.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

It sounds as though you have an upper respiratory infection. Blood can come out too, when the nasal and sinus passages are irritated. This is not serious.

I recommend washing your sinuses with saline (salt water) twice a day to help clear out mucus. If there is a lot of congestion, you might try a decongestant such as pseudoephedrine. Although it doesn't require a prescription, you have to ask the pharmacist for it as it isn't sold on the regular shelves.

If your infection continues for 3 weeks or more, then an antibiotic is indicated. But for now, it will most likely go away in a few days.

Please let me know if I can provide further information.
