Question: I was diagnosed with a uti and was given bactrum which made me very sick! Im allergic to it. I went back to er this morning they said bacteria was clearing up my diagnosis paper said hemutaria. Im having back pain burning and dizziness im kinda scared! The discontinued all antibiotics

I have carefully gone through the details provided. UTI means urinary tract infection. Such an infection can lead to blood in urine, what we refer to as hematuria. You need to drink plenty of fluids and complete the course of antibiotics. If you are allergic to bactrum, there are other good antibiotis that will clear the bacteria. Talk to your doctor about the same. Discontinuing antibiotics will lead to antibiotic resistance and make conditions worse. Instead, Nitrofurantoin is an antibiotic which is very good in UTI and can be tried.
