Brief Answer:
Your problem can get better.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing back , i apologize for delayed reply ,

I have read you description in detail and i think have a good clue of what's happening with you.

I was already suspecting psychiatric issues that's why my 1st and 2nd follow up questions were related to psychiatry,

I here by wanna mention that this has nothing to do with pregnancy directly because 50-60 % mothers can get a low blood counts during pregnancy this is not a great problem ...seems quite natural, you just needs more blood when nourishing a baby inside you.

What are possible causes of your attention problem and missing time?:

Well this mainly has to do with your ADHD , we divide this disorder in two divisions :

1) Attention deficit.

2) Hypersensitivity.

And you are having symptoms of the first category.Whose symptoms are:

1-Be easily distracted, miss details, forget things, and frequently switch from one activity to another...

2-Have difficulty maintaining focus on one task...

3-Become bored with a task after only a few minutes, unless doing something enjoyable...

4-Have difficulty focusing attention on organizing and completing a task or learning something new

5 Have trouble completing or turning in homework assignments, often losing things (e.g., pencils, toys, assignments) needed to complete tasks or activities

6-Not seem to listen when spoken to

7-Daydream, become easily confused, and move slowly

8-Have difficulty processing information as quickly and accurately as others

9-Struggle to follow instructions

..You might not be having many of them but what symptoms you have, are highly suggestive of ADHD and you need proper treatment.

Your symptoms are aggravated because of your not taking meds plus depression you have, stress at work can also exaggerate the symptoms,

Suggestions:

I would like to assure you that your problem is highly treatable all you need is proper psychiatric consultation , proper use of medication and regular follow up in 2--3 months you will feel way better.

Stay calm , don't panic and contact your doctor , hopefuly after a couple of month from now , you will be feeling great provided this thing is properly dealt with.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Get a consult even before starting med.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

thanks for writing back,

Yes such symptoms can be shown in type of epilepsy we call absent seizures but Prime suspect in your case is your psychiatric issue...

I would suggest you to consult a psychiatrist.. even before resuming your meds.

You can discuss about epilepsy with your psychiatrist as well.

Wish you the very best of health:)
