Question: I have been experiencing big toe pain and movement. It is fine while walking and standing and painly with movement and pulling of my foot with sitting. I don't seem to experience this at night.
Brief Answer:
Please, for how long has this been going on?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this pain that you have reported in your big toe. From the information you have provided, this pain seems related to physical activity. If this just started recently, I will advice that you take some pain medications like paracetamol/ibuprofen as recommended by your pharmacist to address this pain.
However, if this has been going on for more than 2weeks, I will suggest that you get it examined and an xray done to rule out any possible bone or joint problem. Depending on the findings, a management plan would be established to address this problem. Starting with a primary care physician would be a good idea and referrals would be made if need be.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to as for more information or clarification if need be. Thanks for using our services.
