Question: I don't know where to begin but I'd really appreciate some advice. I have a mixture of chest pain and discomfort along with shortness of breath and dizziness as well as pain and numbness threw out my back and my entire left arm. this is been ongoing for a few days now and I don't know if I should be concerned as far as it being heart related or if it's something else. I am a 25 year old female about 5 foot 3 200 pounds and I've been pretty good health aside from celiac disease.

Hi and thank you for asking!
You are reporting to have had chest pain, back and left arm pain.
These symtpoms may be related with:
- postural disorders
- heart issues (rarely regarding your age)
- myalgia probably due to recent viral infection
Otherwise to my opinion you should rule out hearts issues by performing
- ECG
- cardiac ultrasound
You should perform too X -ray of spine to better evaluate postural disorders.
Meantime I would suggest to use pain killers , myoretlaxants.
If you have other concerns I would be glad to assist you.

Hi back,
Thank you for your practical way of explaining your pain.
To my opinion firstly you should rule out heart and arterial issues by consulting cardiologist.
Apart from teh exams that I mentioned above I would suggets you to do chest X- ray too.
After you have excluded cardiac issues than you should perform upper endoscopy to rule out / confirm gastric issues like acid reflux.
Hope it was helpful to you.

I experienced this same discomfort a few months ago and received a echo, ekg and a endoscopy. all normal, I'm worried something with my heart could have been missed.

Hi back,
Thank you clarifying your past exams.

If you have done echo, ekg and endoscopy than don't worry there is nothing serious with your heart.
You have rule out heart issues.
You can do chest X- ray to rule out / confirm pulmonary or pleura issues.
If it is normal than your pain is related with muscles of the chest , so nothing to be worried.
You can use pain killers to improve your symptoms.
If you have other concerns than I would be glad to assist you further.
