What Causes Abnormal Heart Arrhythmias?

Question: Hi Doctor
recently during routine health check-up, ECG has been done for my relative & doctor has diagnosed Arythmia.
request you to suggest for followings :
What could be possible cause of it ?
is it harmful ?
does it require furhter eveluation ?
should we consider it normal ?

Heart arrhythmias occur when the electrical impulses that coordinate your heartbeats don't work properly, causing your heart to beat too fast, too slow or irregularly.Usually they are suggestive of any pathological or physiological problem in functioning of electrical or conductive system of heart.
They can be atrial to ventricular in nature,Prognosis of each one is different.So if possible please attach the EKG.
Yes it can be harmful,Some arrythmias which are ventricular in origin can even be fatal.
Yes 24 hour holter monitoring along with 2d echo and tread mill test should be done atr the earliest to rule out the cause.
Please attach the copy of ecg before i can make any further comment on it ,whether it can be normal or not.
