What Causes Abdominal Pain After Having Cedax?

Question: Hello. My son is 6 years old with chronic gastritis. He was complaining of stomache ache for 2days,then he started coughing,got high temperature of 38.5deg.C, he has also yellow nasal secrets. His doc prescribed Nexium for 20days and antibiotic Cedax 30ml for 5-7days. Is it suitable for him as we started Cedax today but he started complaining his stomache is aching more and doc said to give first Nexium 30 min before Cedax, which is also given before breakfast..should i stop Cedax or switch to some lighter antibiotic for my kid because of the gastritis?..please advise me at your earliest..thank you!!!

But the Nexium he takes can resolve it.
Since it is only day one,he can continue taking these two medications as per his doctor's advice.
If he continues to have abdominal pain over the next few days or if it is worsening, then you can discuss with his doctor about changing the medication that is "stomach friendly".
