What Causes Abdominal Cramps In A Diabetic?
Question: My wife aged 32 is 151 days pregnant with diabetes. The BP used to be 90/60 and pulse rate around 80-90. After having ecosprin 75 for 18 days my wife is now having a BP around 100/60 to 110/70. But along with that pulse beat is keeping around 100-110 bpm. She is also having a pounding heart and intestinal cramps. Is it OK to continue the drug or should she stop it?

The causes of increased pulse rate in pregnancy is sinus tachycardia, hyperthyroidism, anemia, or some cardiac disorder
There is no need to stop Aspirin.
Rather, She should get her ECG, hemoglobin levels and thyroid hormone levels done to confirm the diagnosis and get further treatment accordingly.
