I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to yeast infection. Metronidazole theoretically doesn't kill lactobacillus (useful bacteria) in vagina. But hydrogen peroxide douching does that. So in that case yeast infection is possible. A swab test can rule out this.
Using clotrimazole ( monistat) cream for local application will be helpful for this. Avoid douching with hydrogen peroxide and instead you can use intimate wash or V wash. But if still cramps persist then consult your gynecologist for pelvic examination and ultrasound if needed.
