What Causes Abdominal Cramping With Irregular Menstruation?

default
Posted on Mon, 8 Dec 2014
Question: Hi, I have been experiencing some abdominal cramping since the summer with irregular light periods, lasting from a few hours to few days, however I also have the mirena coil.....the dr has done various blood tests (not sure for what) and had a look at my cervix. I have ectropic(?) cervix but dr said that's ok. Was referred to the hospital who suggested maybe I wasn't getting on with this coil, but I've had it for two years and the symptoms have only just recently started. They thought everything was simply hormonal. Now however I am on day 17 of light bleeding/bloody discharge of this recent bout. Since Monday I have also had a mild indigestion which had been eased by eating although not always.....should I book another dr appt or just live with these symptoms?
Thanks for your help

Hello

Welcome to health care magic.

Your symptoms seem more like fibroid or endometriosis. To answer your concern I would like to see your Ultrasound abdomen report. Please get ultrasound scan done. If already done please let me know the report.
