What Causes A White Patch On The Head Of The Penis?
Question: Hello,
I am 33 year old male, from last few days i am having white substance on the head of my penis. I am uncircumcised male and i searched google and they suggest it could be "smegma" . Can i know what is this.
My Hygine is good and i always take care of washing my penis with water and all.
From the last few days i was trying to wipe off and all and i think i might have hurt the forehead and it showing marks (It does not hurt or anything) but i wanted to tell you what i can see.
Please can you advice the solution for this as i am scared and cant work properly.
How can i take care of the marks that i put by rubbing the skin roughly. ? Can i use Miconazole to treat them?

With what you describe it sounds to be smegma or dried cells and semen that appears white on the head of the penis. You certainly need not worry about it at all.
This is not a disease.
Use warm water and savlon to clean the area and does not leave any marks there. These are slightly stubborn to go off so be firm while cleaning them.
Since it does not hurt then it is very unlikely to be fungal in nature.
After that you can apply ALOE VERA gel over the area. Clean the next day with warm water and soap/savlon.
Please let me know the result after 5 days.

Thank you so much for the reply. I will now wash it with warm water. I am in Indonesia and here we dont have savlon here, so what can i use?
Also we dont have aloe vera gel, so can i use, Miconazole or vaseline?

don't worry about aloe Vera gel as well. miconazol is anti fungal preparation you can use it if proven fungal issue else better avoid.
