What Causes A Suspicious Spot On The Leg?

default
Posted on Fri, 3 Feb 2017
Question: My dermatologist removed a suspect spot off my leg to be biopsied for Melanoma. It came back negative for Melanoma but the Dr. said it had tentacles on it and more needs to be removed from the leg. How serious is this?

Brief Answer:
Not serious

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.

If there was no sign of melanoma or some other skin tumor then this is not serious at all.

Probably, the small skin excision around the previous scar will be done and you'll get few more stitches and that's all.

Feel free to ask if you've any further doubts

Wish you good health.
Regards
