What Causes A Spot On Skin Post Intercourse?

Question: this spot appeared after sex about 2 weeks ago. Started using anti-fungal cream 3 days ago. Any idea what it could be. One of the doctors on the sign said its a yeast infection.

I am so sorry to hear about this spot which appeared after sex. If this was immediate, it is probably linked to friction and not an infection. It will heal just like any other wound and does not require any drugs. The appearance is not typical of fungal infection and as such I will not expect to see any major change using this drug. This will for sure get resolved and what is needed is time and nothing else. Be calm and monitor only at this time.

Hi,

There is no need top do anything beyond allowing time for it to heal. Just like wounds might take a long time for the scar to disappear fully, this could be the possible case with you. I know you really don't want to se it and wish that it disappears over night but only time will take care of this. Even after reviewing this image again, I stand by the same comments and advice.

Herpes presents with a painful ulcer that has a very clean base. This has nothing to do with what you have. Was it initially an ulcer? Do you have any image of it?

it was red like a wound. started getting red again once I put the anti fungal cream. i submitted a picture of it.
