default
Posted on Fri, 5 May 2017
Question: I have taken 1 dose of levofloxacin around 1:30pm. Around 7:00 I felt at slight snap in my ankle 2-3 times. My ankle seems fine. I wrapped it for support and am staying off of it. I'm not sure if I should go to the ER. I plan to follow up tomorrow with my doctor.

Brief Answer:
Yes, you must visit ER.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query.

In my opinion you must visit ER, or orthopedic surgeon, he may do your physical examination and advise you xray in addition to rule out the cause and to see present condition of joint.

Till then keep on you treatment like apply compression bandage.

Avoid prolong standing.

Avoid upstairs, running etc.

Avoid wearing high heal shoes.

I hope you got the point.

Thanks,
