Question: Hello!
I have a red bump under my armpit. Has been there for maybe a week, it's growing, red color. I assume it's swollen lymph node maybe? Feels firm on inside, tender to the touch.

Brief Answer:
It could be Infected sebaceous cyst.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I saw the pics.
As per your pics,it looks like the swelling is arising from the skin.Sebaceous cyst occurs in relation to hair follicle and once it gets infected,it will become red and painful.
Another condition that has to be excluded is Acute Lymphadenitis, where a lymph node gets infected and inflammed.
You should consult your doctor, get examined clinically and proceed accordingly.
If infected sebaceous cyst is confirmed, Antibiotic and anti inflammatory tablets have to be given followed by Incision and Drainage of pus.
For Acute Lymphadenitis, I prescribe Antibiotic like Linezolid 600mg twice daily and Anti inflammatory tablet twice daily till symptoms subside.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health
Regards
