Is Black Stain Marks On My Teeth Due To Zyvox?

I have been taking Zyvox for 7 months and have experienced black stain marks on my teeth. Is this a side effect?
Also have an itchy rash on my arms and neck. I may be on this drug for another 4 or 5 months. Suggestions for coping? (Am also taking inhaled Amikacin.)

As per your complain Zyvox contains active ingredient Linezolid and long term intake of this drug is seen to cause teeth staining and black stains on teeth seems to be a side effect of this drug..
Itchy rashes can also be a side effect of this antibiotic..
I would suggest you to consult your treating physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and blood tests can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
In case if the staining and rashes are due to side effect of the antibiotic you can be prescribed subsitution of antibiotic with other group of antibiotics which will not cause side effects..
You can also go for Scaling of teeth that will help in removal of the stains..
You can also apply steroid ointment over the rashes and also do cool compresses over the rashes..
Do calamine lotion..
