What Causes A Large Mass On The Mons Pubis?

default
Posted on Mon, 20 Jun 2016
Question: I have a rather large mass on my mons pubis, it isn't hard and it's tender to the touch. I woke up with it yesterday. What do you think it is? I don't believe it's a std. Maybe a cyst?

Brief Answer:
Might be folliculitis or absces, upload the picture

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome.
I have gone through your query.
It is difficult to comment on it without examination. So It will be better if you can upload the pictures of it, that will help me in providing you with specific advice.
I would also like to know few more information like how large not is? Do you have fever?
Is there any redness?
Is there any history of injury?

Based on the information I feel it might be folliculitis or absces. But needs to be confirmed.
Kindly get back to us with the pictures, I'll be glad to help you out.
Take care.
