Question: At night I feel like my body temperature rises so hot but I never sweat. I sleep with temperature at 67 and no sheets. I feel like I'm going to catch on fire! I have already been through menapose and never had trouble with temperature swings or sweating like other people. This just started a few months ago.

Brief Answer:
hyperthryroidism

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You have been experiencing feeling hot despite a cool room. This is a question about your metabolism. Your metabolism seems to be higher and the usual causes of high metabolism is menopause, hyperthyroidism and liver problems. Since you already went through menopause this is less likely. I recommend that you see your medical provider and have a full chemistry and liver function test done.

In summary
1. possible hyperthyroidism or liver disease
2. seek medical attention and labs for full chemistry and liver functions

I hope I answered your question. Please contact HCM again with your health care concerns
