Dear doctor, thank you for your reply. I have this problem since the last 3-4 days. There is no pain or discomfort or itching, only the area feels a little sensitive. Also, there was no injury to the area while trimming. I am uploading two pictures to help you get a clearer picture.

Brief Answer:
Superficial skin infection ,take treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

I have seen the attached pictures .
You seem to have developed a superficial skin infection called folliculitis.
Such infections are quite common after trimming the area or after hair removal .
keep the affected area clean and dry . Apply a topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over the affected area twice daily . You might a course of oral antibiotics if the lesion tends to persist or increase.
Wear cotton undergarments so as to decrease sweating and prevent further infection.
Hope it helps

Brief Answer:
Need for antibiotic

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

If the lesion continues to increase in size or become red ,swollen or tender ,you can take a course of oral azithromycin 500 mg once daily for five days .
This oral antibiotic is usually sufficient and covers the infection.

Hope it helps
