Hi,
I appreciate concern about your father.

Neck pain with fever could be related to multiple reasons.
Fever with neck pain suggestive of cervical bone problems or neurological problem.
Since your neurologist cannot figure out about fever, pain,

Hope I have answered your question.

Brief Answer:
may be due to neck bone problem

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

As per my knowledge I don't think brain stroke does not cause fever and neck pain. Moreover he is recovering from it now.

Based on the details provided, bone conditions - spondylitis leading to arthritis may be causing fever. It could be contributed from other conditions such as lung and urine. What other symptoms do you have.

Low hemoglobin can causes muscle cramps during nights, but I don't think it causes fever.

I would suggest you to give painkillers with your treating doctor advice for 5 days.
I also suggest you give iron rich food and supplements to increase hemoglobin levels.
If symptoms do not improve after 5 days,
I would suggest you to visit an Orthopedic doctor for detailed clinical examination. Investigations like X-ray of neck and MRI may be required.

If you have any questions I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Rule out urine infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for follow ups

According to reports and history your father might have very mild urinary tract infection which does not require treatment.

Still if he is having urine problems, it may be causing fever.
I would suggest you take complete urine examination (CUE) to rule out infection.
If urine examination find any abnormalities then you need to start medication with doctor advice.
If it will not find any abnormalities
Then you need to visit an Orthopedic doctor.

Tell your father to drink plenty of water.

If you have any queries I will be happy to help you
Thank you.
