What Are The Symptoms Bipolar Disorder?
Question: I have an associate who has suffered from bipola for many years -she has never been able to work.
There maybe other complications like a personality disorder.She has been withdrawing from her medication for at least 7 maybe more months.I have endeavoured to help her.Unfortunately she has made accusations against me which are either totally incorrect + are gross exaggerations of the truth.
Is this "normal "when coming off medication or when suffering from bipola?

Bipolar disorder is a mood disorder which involves multiple episodes of mania or mania and depressive disorder. The disorder runs in episodes and individual remains relatively symptoms free between episodes. With advancing age and with chronicity of disorder individuals start to refuse treatment, they may develop delusional ideas. Grandiose delusions are commonly seen. In some patients paranoid delusions are seen, they start accusing close family members or colleagues for their condition.
She has stopped to take medicines and probably her symptoms have relapsed and this is the reason for her accusations against you. This is common complaint seen in bipolar disorder. Developing paranoid ideas, grudge against colleagues, accusing them etc symptoms are seen. Such type of complaints is normally seen in bipolar patients. Best treatment for such symptoms is evaluation by a psychiatrist and treatment with medicines.
