Brief Answer:
There are no major after effects.

Detailed Answer:

Hi
Thanks for your query

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and various reports including MRI reports and understand your concern. You are having mild disc prolapse with bilateral foramina narrowing. Its treatment is rest in lateral position with both hip and knee flexed. Analgesic such as tramadol is given to relieve pain. Mecobalamin is helpful in resolving. If pain is severe then nerve block is tried. Alternative to nerve block is rest and analgesic as described above or discectomy operation. After effect of nerve block is not significant and major. But sometimes there may occur some minor sensory loss.

You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
Your prescription is ok but you can add to it Mecobalamin 1500 micrograms

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back
1. Your prescription is ok but you can add to it Mecobalamin 1500 micrograms daily. Rest is important part of treatment and rest is advisable as already discussed.
2.You have analgesic in your prescription. Aceclofenac and PCM are analgesic. There is no Mecobalamin in your prescription.
3.Other medicines are also for nerve stabilisation and pantaprazole is for preventing acidity due to medicines.
4.Nerve block procedure is done by localising the nerve first by image intensifier or other agents and then injecting nerve with blocking agent. There is no major risk but rarely little nerve damage may occur.
You can discuss with your doctor about it.
Everything else already discussed.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for me, so that I get a good feedback.
