Brief Answer:
Use Butran cautiously with any signs of infection or constipation

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic!

Based on the history you have shared, it is likely that loose stools or cold feeling can be due to the patch itself. It is an opioid analgesic and opioid are more notoriously known to cause decreased bowel movements, constipation and bloating. If by upset stomach you mean any of these, yes it can be because of Butran. But if you mean loose stools, it can be acute episode of gastroentrologist.

Kindly in such case, feeling cold or chilled can be due to insensual fevers or electrolyte loss or dehydration. Please keep a check at fever charting, and with fevers don't use it as it may cause increased absorption of drug through the patch and may lead to overdose. You can use anti spasmodic for increased motility like drotaverine or hyoscyamine. Avoid these in constipation. Treat loose stools with adsorbents like ispaghol husk, soft diets and oral rehydration salts.Keep check on water and electrolytes loss, more cautiously as you have mentioned belonging to hot temperate area.

Hoping you a speedy recovery. If you dont have any more questions, please close the discussion. Regards.
