Advil contains ibuprofen which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and is considered safe. Occasionally it may cause gastro-intestinal side effects in 5-15% consumers like stomachache, nausea, vomiting. Less frequently it may causes rashes, low platelet count, headache, dizziness, blurred vision, fluid retention and edema.
