Posted on Mon, 11 Jan 2016
Question: I'm pregnant and on heparin injections twice a day. my pharmacy made a mistake and did not order my RX correctly. I can get my RX tomorrow morning but my shot was short tonight. I'm supposed to take 37.5mls but I only had enough for 32mls. should I be concerned or so you think it will be enough.

Brief Answer:
It is enough, nothing to worry about.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
It is definitely short, but nothing to panic about.
That difference between 32 ml and 37.5 ml is not significant enough for there to be any adverse outcomes or negative consequences.
So relax.
you can definitely resume your regular dosage shot tomorrow onwards, and you should be covered.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.
