Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the question and understand your concerns.
Don't worry. 5 tablets of Eltroxin will not cause serious side effects. Only side effect is increase in heart rate and very rarely arrhythmia ( unusual in this dose). If the tablet is taken with in 3 hours you can visit a near by paediatrician, who will help you with gastric wash. If not comfortable with that give your child plenty of milk as this will decrease the absorption of thyroxine.
If it is more than 3 hours, just observe the child's pulse rate for next 4 to 5 days.If it goes above 130/minute re visit your paediatrician.

We visited one Doctor locally and he suggested us to give bread toast with tea.
Is it ok to feed him tea and bread toast?
His pulse rate is 120 right now and he is behaving normally. Any precaution do we need to take? what all we can feed him?

No need to worry. Give him milk, tea or bread - all food items will decrease the absorption of Eltroxin. Eltroxin will stay in blood for 4-7 days. So monitor his heart rate every 6 hours these days. No other precautions or tests needed.
If there is high heart rate, do visit your doctor again who will do a blood test for T4. Medicines like beta blockers can bring the heart rate down -IF NEEDED. He can be fed on any type of food these days.
