What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy When On Birth Control Pills?

default
Posted on Wed, 25 Feb 2015
Question: Hi I've been on birth control for 10 years. I am halfway through my last pack that expired two months ago. All pills up to this point were taken correctly and not expired. I had unprotected sex and took plan b to be safe. Is there a good chance that I am not pregnant?

Brief Answer:
Yes, You may not be pregnant.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing to us about it.

I can understand your concern.

The chances of pregnancy are less in your case, if you had plan b with in 72 hrs. after an unprotected sex.

So please do not take stress and wait for your menses.

Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more.

Good luck.
