Question: My doctor has ordered daily injections of B12. His first call said my blood work was OK. What's up?

There are various conditions where B12 vitamin is given and usually in some less serious conditions. and in most cases it is given for pernicious anemia (low red blood count) which is seen at people of your age.
Also, it can be given for some neurologcal disorders such as memory loss, dementia, depression. And it may help you to strengthen your immune system.
