Question: I took ASCORil yesterday and experienced rise in BP, hyperventilation, increase in pulse rate and very jittery feeling. Was it a drug reaction?

Thanks for the query

The symptoms which you are facing are normal side effects of ascoril and not a drug reaction. I advise you to reduce the dose of ascoril. If it still persists then switch over to syrup lintus codeine instead.
Ascoril is a b2 receptor stimulant which causes increased heart rate, tremors of hand, sweating, etc in some individuals.
