Question: My age is 40 I want to my period earlier because some family function and XXXXXXX is there last month my period date was 5.10.2016 I am going my native place on 28.11.2016 should my period will comes very earlier like from 26 november Start.

i want quick answer till afternoon because i can not delay the period tuesday we are going if today period will come then it will be fininsh in 3-4 days because from 4-5 month it was finishing on 3-4 days

I have read through your query and I can certainly understand your situation.
From your description, you have stated that your last menstrual period was on 05.10.2016. So, you are supposed to get your periods on 5.11.16, which you have not got till now. I would like to know what your regular menstrual cycle is, like is it a 28 day cycle or a 35 day cycle like that.

There are no such medications to prepone your periods, but I can help you with postponing it, till your desirable date.
These medications has to be taken 3-4 days prior to the expected date of periods; twice daily without missing it. You will get your periods within 3-5 days once you have discontinued it.
You may take Tab. Primolut N(norethisterone) twice daily till when your function is over. You may expect your periods within a few days after discontinuing it.

should i take from today because my period has come early exp sept it come 11 octo it came 5 and now may be 29-30
if i start today then can i take it till 13/12/016 because on that time i am coming back

Yes you may take Tab. Primolut N 5mg twice daily without missing it till the day when you are planning to come back or till when your function is over. This medicine is progesterone, which is a hormone which acts by making the uterine lining stable without beginning to shed it.

But it would be for your best to rule out any other possible causes for the delay in your periods. One of the major cause being a symptom of peri- menopause. You may also look out for any hormonal imbalance like thyroid profile. Anemia can also be another factor for the delay.
Just make sure to look into it when possible.
